The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, ME4 4TZ
Commissioner's House is a unique combination of stunning Georgian architecture and beautiful landscaped gardens within the rich heritage of The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
Built in 1704 for the Commissioenr and his family, Commissioenr's house is the oldest naval building intact in Briatin today.
One of the most beautiful buildings in Kent, Commissioner's House has strickingly elegant rooms licensed for Ceremonies and can accommodate up to 120 for sit down receptions.
Not many people can boast they were married on a ship! Now you can - aboard the magnificent Victorian 3-masted sloop, HMS Gannet.
The ceremony can take place in the Commander's Cabin, on the quarterdeck, or on the main deck of this wonderful and unique location. Couples can combine their ceremony with drinks onboard, followed by the main reception in Commissioenr's House.
"We had very high expectations for our wedding day. We chose Commissioner's House because it is a dream venue and we felt the team there could deliver the wedding wanted. They did. Thank you Commissioner's House."
