When it comes to wedding dresses there’s only one rule – it doesn’t matter what style you're going for, or how much you're spending, your wedding dress should fit you perfectly... and that's where I come in!

I’m Laura, a Manchester-based seamstress who alters & restyles bridal and special occasion wear for any woman with an exciting event in her diary so it fits perfectly, reflects her style and makes her look & feel bloomin’ gorgeous!

I’ve been a bridal seamstress for over ten years and have a degree in costume making so I'm used to working with fancy clothes. Because I'm a fully qualified dressmaker I know how to take clothes apart and alter them properly. I handle beautiful laces, luxury fabrics and intricate beading every day so you don't need to worry, your precious dress is in safe hands. I take great pride in my work and absolutely always make sure you can't see the alterations I make.

I offer a bespoke wedding dress alterations service which is all about you. How you envisage yourself looking and how you want to feel. I do the fittings and carry out all of the work myself so you’ll get a very personal 1-1 service. Sometimes it only takes a tiny tweak to make a huge difference to the way a gown looks and feel. Equally, a big restyle is sometimes the best option to create the perfect style for you. I can also help to put the finishing touches to your outfit with a custom made veil and dress steaming.

I do get very busy but depending on my workload sometimes I can sometimes rearrange my schedule. Send me a message, I’ll always help if I can.
