Located in the stunning city of St Alban's, and near the famous abbey cathedral, the hotel is set in five acres of beautiful private English country gardens with its own one acre lake.

The original manor house dates back to the 16th century and was converted into a hotel in the early 1960’s by the Newling Ward family. The family remain private owner/managers and have hosted weddings and private events for over 50 years.

This is a spectacular venue with four locations for ceremonies, a beautiful 140 seat orangery overlooking the garden, two private function rooms, a lounge, bar, terrace and 30 bedrooms.

An experienced event team are always at hand to ensure you are guided through your planning and to provide that individual and unforgettable touch.

Only 20 minutes by train from London, close to the M25 and with private parking.
