Full of character, charm and warmth, this lovingly restored hotel boasts 15 individually decorated bedrooms and an award winning restaurant.

The home of the Wynne Bankes family for over 200 years, Soughton Hall combines the atmosphere of a cherished family home with the luxury of a boutique country retreat – perfect for social and business events and a perfect setting for exclusive use weddings – our speciality.

Soughton Hall is approached down a sweeping lime avenue driveway which cannot fail to impress. The Hall is set in 10 acres and is surrounded by both formal gardens and places for quiet reflection, all of which are perfect for stunning wedding photographs. Our walled garden at the front of the house, provides a beautiful setting for drinks receptions and a great space for garden games!

Planning and packages

At Soughton Hall we understand that your wedding will be like no other and our wedding planners will ensure every detail is meticulously planned. However, many clients like packages to take some of the stress out of organising the day and ours offer lots of extras such as flowers and stationery. You'll find all our packages in our menu and packages booklet, downloadable below and our wedding coordinators are available to advise you on the right one to suit your day.

Soughton Hall has a long tradition of catering for lavish events and we are proud to continue this tradition. Our very talented head chef, Thomas Burge and his team have created a range of menus to help you create your perfect wedding feast.
