Hip Hip 2 Rays - definition:

1. Soprano, alto, tenor and baritone sax, clarinet and powerful vocals.

2. Performers of Swing and Jump music since 1994. Known for Sinatra (sic. Bublé, Rat Pack), Nat King Cole, Louis Jordan, Louis Prima and more.

3. Purveyors of classy party music, esp. Wilson Pickett, Barry White, Marvin Gaye, Tom Jones, Paolo Nutini, Amy Winehouse....

4. A truly tailored music service, including lights and pre-mixed disco if required, giving a rounded evening to the broadest audience possible.

5. Quality and jolly good fun too!

We play many of our songs as faithfully to their original style as possible, but we also like to throw in the occasional oddity. We trespass into guitar territory such as Brown Sugar, Wonderful Tonight and Parisienne Walkways; they shouldn’t work but they do!

And if the audience is the right stuff, their assistance as a small kazoo orchestra on songs such as Minnie The Moocher and Delilah can be something to behold.

Whether it's a formal function or a bit of fun, Hip Hip 2 Rays can fit your style. Just make sure we don't offer you the inflatable sax.
