Well, I don’t like posing for photos. So I am guessing you probably don’t either?

Good, because I wouldn’t dream of making you spend your wedding day posing for photos for hours on end with a cavalcade of extended family members.

I work in a natural & relaxed style, so the vast majority of the photos will be unposed. Of course I am very happy to take any posed pictures you or your guests would like throughout the day, however I will not be taking over your wedding day.

It is important to spend time with your guests on the day so I aim to get any formal photos done quickly & efficiently.

You can forget about the photography & leave it to me, I will document the story of your wedding day without interfering with the flow of the big day.

How Do I Work?

In my career I have realised the photography is half the job of a good wedding photographer. The other half is people skills, whether it’s putting the bride at ease when I arrive, calming people down when they have pre-speech nerves, getting on with the kids or taking the time to make sure they parents & families have the photos they want from the day.

One of the reasons I like photographing weddings is people are happy & you see everyone at their best. Who wouldn’t want to document that? I’m not sure I could think of a better workplace.

When you receive the pictures you can relive the whole day again as well as many moments you missed along the way.

It is your day & I aim to document it as unobtrusively as possible.

I am based in London but I work nationwide. I regularly work in Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Kent, Berkshire, Surrey, Sussex, Oxfordshire & anywhere else.

I also love covering weddings abroad occasionally and I am happy to discuss these on an individual basis.

Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 I am offering a limited time wedding photography package for small gatherings now that restrictions have been lifted.

3 hours coverage by Simon: I can cover the ceremony, some couple photos at a location of your choice, the getting ready or however you would like me to spend the time. No strict time limits enforced.
All photographs fully edited in a mixture of colour or black & white.
USB stick in presentation box (or digital download if you prefer): Unique, edited, high resolution photographs.
Full printing rights are included within the cost (although I can supply professionally designed albums, books & prints if desired).
Private online viewing gallery to share with friends & family (prints can be ordered directly from here).
There are no travel fees within 2 hours of London, I regularly work in Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Sussex & throughout the UK.
