Stanwell House Hotel is a stylish, boutique hotel located on Lymington's historic highstreet and moments from the famous cobbles and the beautiful quay.

We are licensed for civil marriages and your ceremony can take place in our Conservatory - a bright, elegant room with old York stone flags and stylish rattan chair -or in our beautiful, wooden Pavilion surrounded by all of your family and friends and a beautiful garden backdrop.

Stanwell House Hotel has something different for every occasion. From small, intimate weddings with your closest family and friends to a lavish affair with 100 guests. The hotel is a very romantic Georgian grade II listed building, yet is oozing rustic style and charm.

A friendly, warm welcome waits from the moment you arrive. We can accommodate up to 100 guests for your wedding breakfast, with up to 150 guests for your evening celebrations.

At Stanwell House you will find we are very proud to be passionate about food, delivered by our award winning team. We use only the best fresh ingredients from the New Forest and local area.We offer attentive and unobtrusive service and a wonderfully romantic and intimate setting.

Our beautiful garden pavilion is the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Alternatively, you can marry in our stunning, flag-stone floored conservatory, which is flooded with light all year round.

Following your wedding ceremony, why not celebrate with your guests with a champagne and canape reception, either on the terrace or in the conservatory?

After lots of celebratory hugs and kisses and few photographs, you will move in to our beautifully refurbished restaurant, Etain, which overlooks the garden and is full of beautiful textures of wood and metal and subtle hints of blue and grey, perfect for our coastal location.

You and your guests will be treated to 2 Rosette, award-winning food with a wide variety of dining options from beautifully presented 3 course menus to sizzling and suptuous barbecues full of locally sourced meat and fish. We are also very happy to work with you to create a totally bespoke and personal menu that really reflects your personal style.

After dinner, you can party the night away with your own choice of live music or a DJ and then you can sink into a beautifully soft pillow of feathers in our lovely bridal suite and drift away, dreaming about the best day of your lives.
