As seen on the BBC's Last Tango in Halifax, this fairytale country manor in the heart of West Yorkshire offers enchanting gardens, elegant oak paneled rooms, open long fires and award-winning food. Holdsworth House is an idyllic venue for romantic weddings and receptions and is one of the top wedding venues in Yorkshire.

The house was built in 1633 and boasts many period features which lend a sense of style and history to any event. We can host every part of your special day from the civil ceremony and wedding reception to your evening buffet and party, be it a small and intimate or a lavish grand affair. The surroundings will captivate and charm your family and friends and we always go to every length to ensure you a perfect day which will be remembered with much happiness.

Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and although there may be other guests in the hotel, we guarantee yours will be the only wedding on that day.

We can cater for up to 150 guests in an evening reception or 120 for a sit down wedding breakfast and marriage ceremonies and civil partnerships. There are 36 bedrooms in the hotel for your guests to stay overnight.
