The Museum of London, located at the heart of the country’s capital, offers a beautiful and unique wedding venue. Perfect for lovers of history, the venue boasts an incredible variety of inspiring backdrops for your memorable day.

The Museum of London is now licensed to hold civil ceremonies in an exciting variety of settings. Whether you’re planning a large, lavish occasion or a more intimate event, the venue has the perfect space for your special day.

You could choose to say “I do” beneath the lit pagoda in the recreated 18th-century Pleasure Garden, which boasts real trees and a variety of original dresses. The Pleasure Garden can accommodate up to 50 guests for your ceremony. Following your romantic ceremony, you and your guests can enjoy a few drinks in the Victorian Walk before moving on to the People’s City Gallery for your wedding breakfast with up to 70 guests.

Alternatively, the Terrace Rooms can hold 70 guests for your ceremony and up to 100 for the reception. The Garden Room and Terrace Gallery both overlook a private patio which boasts a spectacular Horse Chestnut tree as a grand focal point.

The Sackler Hall offers a more modern setting for your celebrations. The space is adorned with show-stopping LED ellipse which can replicate a twinkling night’s sky, tailored to spell names of guests or create simple motifs. The space can accommodate larger wedding celebrations of up to 350 guests.

The Museum of London is a truly unique venue. Located in the centre of London, just moments from St Paul’s Cathedral, the venue offers something a little different in the vibrant city.
