"Becky is wonderful; professional, talented, respectful and attentive. I was looking for someone confident and experienced in vintage styling, someone able to create individual 'looks' for each of my bridesmaids, but most importantly someone that understood my desire to look and feel natural, to feel like me (albeit, me on my very best day!). Becky was able to do all these things and more. I first met her when she visited me at home for the trial. She was really friendly and immediately put me at ease. She listened attentively to what I had in mind, looked through all the images I had collected, carefully considered the style of my wedding dress and the flowers, and after a couple of simple questions to help narrow things down, very quickly understood the 'look' I was after. She was very enthusiastic and made really valuable recommendations throughout. She also spoke individually to each of my bridesmaids to understand what they wanted for the day. On the wedding day, she arrived early, set up her equipment, and was ready to get started in no time at all. She was calm, patient and completely professional. It was a pleasure to spend the morning with her. The end result was exactly as I had imagined (and hoped) for my wedding day - flawless, beautiful and lasted all day and night (with the exception of a few re-applications of lip stain after dinner!). I just wish I could have Becky on hand every time a special occasion springs up! But, let's face it, there's no occasion quite as special as your wedding day, and I'm thrilled I found Becky for mine!"

"Brides by Becky provided me with hair and make-up services for my wedding in August 2013 and I couldn’t have been happier with the service. One bride, four bridesmaids and the Mother of the Bride were all made-up perfectly in a natural and romantic style, as agreed in the trial a few months before. The entire party were delighted with the results and although none were used to wearing a lot of make-up, all felt happy and comfortable with their new hair and faces! Becky was punctual, calm and professional, and was assisted by the competent and friendly Jade. The hours before my wedding I had imagined would be stressful and hectic, but were actually really lovely, calm and relaxed. Exactly what I needed! Our hair and make-up stayed put (despite the heat and quite a lot of tears from us all) and looked fabulous in the photos. In particular my hair was just amazing - clip-in extensions into chin-length, bright red hair Becky created incredible pre-raphaelite long curls which looked so good that some of the guests who I hadn’t seen for a few years thought it was real! I never wanted to take them out. Having done quite a lot of research into alternative providers of bridal hair and make-up services before selecting Becky, I also thought the service was excellent value for money. So thank you Becky and Jade for making us feel wonderful on my wedding day. I would recommend your services to all brides and their bridal party."

"I found Becky's blog whilst looking online for a hair and makeup artist. I contacted her via facebook and she replied really quickly. This instantly got my attention as other people I had contacted were really slow at getting back to me and were reluctant to give me quotes without having a trial. Becky told me straight away her prices which were very reasonable and I booked in for a trial with her. She came to my house and we decided together what would work best for my wedding day taking into consideration my theme, dress and complexion. I liked Becky straight away - she was so easy to talk to and really put me at ease. On my wedding day she did mine and my two bridesmaids hair and makeup beautifully. The hair and makeup was flawless and long lasting. I have sensitive skin which usually gets quite spotty after wearing foundation, but there wasn't a spot in sight afterwards! "I found Becky’s blog from an internet search and was impressed with her pictures and updates posted and so contacted her. Becky came back to me the same day and we agreed a trial for myself and my bridesmaid to take place the following week in the evening at my house. Becky arrived with an excellent makeup collection including MAC, Urban Decay and Lancome to name a few. She also had a vast range of tools that I would say could complete any look. I was very jealous :) Becky took the time to discuss both our looks and tastes and share her impressive portfolio. I also showed her my dress and hair piece which helped Becky decide that she wanted to trial a ‘Hollywood Glamour’ style look for me. After the trial I was very happy with the look and over moon that I had found someone who could tailor a look for my wedding with added glamour all the while still making me look like myself. On the wedding day, Becky arrived and was very reassuring and friendly which makes her a pleasure to be around when you could potentially be quite stressed and in a manic environment. She was also very patient between hair and makeup taking some time to wait. For my makeup application Becky took extra time (as there was plenty to spare) to ensure that she was happy with the application. Whilst at the same time was an absolute pleasure to chat with. The makeup lasted all day without the need for a top up apart from lip stain and gloss. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Becky "
