Charlie Sanders, (The East Yorkshire Piper) is a highly professional piper with over 40 years experience of playing the Great Highland Bagpipes and the Scottish Small Pipes. Charlie was taught to play the pipes by Charles Craig, a fantastic and inspiring teacher and a former pipe major in the Scots Guards.

The East Yorkshire Piper is based in the beautiful market town of Beverley and is available to play across the Yorkshire and Humberside region and further afield if requested. With a wealth of experience playing both solo and with pipe-bands in Britain and Hong Kong, Charlie in his highland dress will add that special sparkle and colour to your wedding.

The East Yorkshire Piper will attend your wedding, wearing the beautiful Ancient Caledonian tartan and the lilting skirl of the pipes will add musical delight and excitement to your wedding day making it a most memorable event.

A range of services can be provided for your wedding including:

• Playing a selection of well-known tunes while your guests arrive
• Piping the bride down the aisle
• Playing the bride and groom out after the ceremony
• Playing romantic or favourite melodies such as Amazing Grace or Flower of Scotland during the service
• Leading the bride and groom to the top table at the reception
• Playing foot-tapping tunes, jigs and reels for your guests as they arrive at the reception.
