"Our decision to book the Rollo Academy to help us prepare for our first dance at our wedding in September 2019 is one of the best decisions that we have ever made.  Sam’s friendly, reassuring and can do attitude coupled with her very competitive rates and focus on being able to help, rather than on taking our money as quickly as she could,  made her stand out head and shoulders above her competitors. When we explained that we were not very confident dancers and that we would need to focus on what was practicable for us as a couple in our late 50s we were met with such attentiveness, cooperation and willingness to please that we knew that there was absolutely no need to look elsewhere. Sam immediately made us feel that we were in the safest of hands.  Sam assessed our abilities, personalities and character and worked  with us to devise a dance routine to ‘All of my life’ by Linda Rondstadt and Aaron Neville that was completed in just 2 sessions. Thereafter, she used video recordings and worked on ways to help us to remember, learn and perfect our routine right up to the wedding and even split the last of the 5  lessons so that we could have 2 short run throughs within a couple weeks of the wedding date. She was helpful, professional, reasonable, flexible and absolutely fantastic throughout.    Sam absolutely delivered, was excellent value for money and our recommendation cannot be any higher.  Our guests were absolutely delighted with our first dance and many still speak of that delight even now. "Ian and I approached Sam as total dance beginners to help teach and choreograph something respectable for our wedding dance and I had chosen Time of Your Life which probably wasn't the easiest tune to dance to - particularly as I wanted to attempt a lift ! Sam was patient with both of us as we completely forgot the steps from one week to the next and she was funny and encouraging so that in the end we managed to surprise all our wedding guests with an amazing dance. "Leah and Ryan We approached Sam for dance lessons after a number of attempts by ourselves which consisted purely of a awkward shuffle! On enquiring Sam came across very enthusiastic and helpful and totally put our mind at ease. On our first lesson Sam had already planned the routine which suited us perfectly. We were total beginners and Sam made us relax and really enjoy ourselves. By the end we left feeling confident. She even filmed it so we could continue practising at home. Leading up to our wedding Sam kept in touch ensuring we were happy and we booked a last minute refresher. She never pressured us to do more or anything we didn't want. On the day the dance went better than expected. We made a few mistakes but as Sam had said we could laugh it off and carry on. We can't thank Sam enough!! Highly recommend her"

"Sam really put a lot of effort into getting the music and routine right. It went down a storm at the wedding as no one was expecting it at all. We were very happy. " After deciding we wanted to do a choreographed routine for our wedding dance and picking a song we wanted to dance to, we did a quick search online and came across the Rollo Academy. Sam's response after contacting her was very encouraging, so we sent her the song and made our first appointment for a dance lesson.   On taking up our first lesson, Sam had already planned out the start of the dance and we finished the lesson with a video to take home with us so we could practice. We were overwhelmed by Sam's enthusiasm and energy, she is full of positivity and ideas which is just what you need when you are starting out with little confidence or experience. We had 4 lessons with Sam and practiced the routine at home and in the park in between lessons with the help of the video that Sam filmed during the lessons.    When it came to the wedding day, our guests were blown away by the routine; so much so we were asked to perform it at a Christmas party which had an equally well received response. We couldn't thank Sam enough for her all her help in choreographing our dance, it continues to be the talk of our wedding and is something we would have not been able to do without her.
